Finance Council

This group of parishioners meets monthly to review the financial condition of the parish, paying special attention to monthly income, to payment of outstanding invoices, and to assure that expenditures are within budget. In April/May Council members each assume responsibility for developing a budget for the coming year in such areas as operations, administration, insurance, social services programs, education, and others. The operating budget depends on such factors as forecast income, as well as donations and bequests. The Council monitors any parish fund raising activities. The Council is also responsible for preparing and giving the annual financial report to parishioners in September.
