    Honor Roll and High Honor Roll Qualifications

    High Honor Roll Students should have the following:   3.5-4.0 calculated GPA and no grade lower than a B in any subject or special, excluding handwriting.

    Honor Roll Students should have the following:  
    3.0-3.4 calculated GPA , only one C is permissible and cannot have any grades lower than a C, excluding handwriting.

    The averages are calculated by assigning the following point values to the eight core subjects and the averaged specials grade:  A-4   B-3  C-2   D-1  E-0
